Let's be honest.
I love blogging. I really do. I love that it's a great way for me to write down what's going on in my life, stay in touch with family and meet new people. The past few months have been so crazy that I'm a little disappointed that I haven't been writing down everything that's been going on. I have my pictures, but having this journal is pretty priceless.
Every blogger, including myself, will say that the second you stop enjoying it should be the second before you stop. If you don't like doing it for yourself, then there is really no other reason to do it, especially if you are blogging about your life. I never stopped enjoying blogging, but I'm going to throw this out there and say that it was a little discouraging when I started to see my numbers go down. I felt like right before I started school I was starting to reach my blogging goals and then all of the sudden it all came to a sudden halt. I don't blame you guys though, as much as I loved writing my every day recaps about school, it must have got a little boring. Plus the fact that I claim to be a semi-wedding planning blogger and there have been maybe three wedding posts in the past six months is a little misleading. And Reddick? Poor Reddick, he sits at home all day and probably wishes his face was plastered all over the blog.
I'm going to continue to be honest with you. While I still have a lot of the same blogging goals, I've been pretty distracted. While I want to continue blogging, I also want to focus on what my future holds. The next six months is going to go by so fast and before I know it, I'll be a culinary school graduate and out on my own. I'd much rather have my shit together upon graduation day than have to start from scratch. I'll always blog about the eats, love and happiness in my life. I love the title so much that I've contemplated it for my business title. However, I think it will forever stay my blog and my way to sit here and vent to all of you...forever. Maybe.
I'm really excited for what's in the future for my blog and my business...whatever it might entail. I am going to start working on a professional site/portfolio that I hope you'll all check out as soon as it's launched. Eventually, most of the recipes and informational pieces will move over to that site and this blog will be more of a journal. Hopefully there will be a lot of exciting things going on to share with all of you!
So, I guess I just wanted to vent a little bit to you guys and let you know what's going on in my little corner of the blog world. Things might be shifting around and I hope you stay around. You guys have all been really awesome and I can't wait to continue to share this awesome journey with you.
