Happy Friday everyone!
I'm writing this post from my sister's couch in Stowe, Vermont. Vermont is a pretty amazing place. I got up and ran this morning on a rec course behind my sisters house. I passed a corn maze, cows, a yoga area by the river and sadly, some parts of the river that was washed away from the storm last weekend. Stowe was very lucky, but some neighboring towns were hit pretty hard. This is a precious area and I know the people will rally together to bring things back to normal.
I love being up in the mountains. I can't stay long, because even if it is a mini vacation, I have a paper to write, recipes to write and some other blogging stuff to work on before the weekend kicks off.
Why am I up here you ask?
To see only one of my favorite bands ever...

And if Lady A wasn't enough, we'll be seeing Sugarland on Sunday night, too!
