Lana Del Rey

When I was little I got to meet some famous people: Scott Hamilton, Kurt Browning, O-Town, Edwin Mccain. So they might not be completely huge, but it was pretty cool to meet all of those people. Since then, I've met some other people and it's always pretty exciting to meet someone who's on the radio or on a t.v. show.

I've told you guys about someone that I met a few months ago and who I think is going to be huge in country music very soon - Clayton Anderson. I barely know this guy and I've blogged about him and would love nothing more than a few of my readers to download a few of his songs.

You can imagine how exciting it is to see one of my childhood friends start to do the same thing that Clayton is doing, making it. Lana Del Rey has over 30,000 Facebook likes. That's way more than any of our famous fellow bloggers. This girl is legit. Lana, or as I know her, Lizzy, is a singer who is starting to come to the mainstream surface. I've been listening to her since we were kids and she would literally sing me to sleep, and it's about time that the world started catching on. Yes, I said the world. People all over the place are falling in love. It's so incredible to watch one of my friend's dreams come true right before our eyes. Lizzy left Lake Placid when we were in high school to go to boarding school, but thankfully through social media we've managed to stay in touch. I got to see her for the first time in years over the summer, and she's the same old Lizzy. Lake Placid is usually known for sending away professional athletes, not touring artists.

She didn't ask me to write this. No one is paying me to write this. I simply just want you to listen to her song just once and see if your hooked. This is the type of music that you didn't even know existed. I think her sound is so unique but still catchy. Sometimes I find myself singing it, thinking that I heard it on the radio, but it's just my friends song. I hope you all like it, and if you do please let me know. I'd love to hear what you think...better yet, head over to her Facebook page and leave her a comment yourself. She loves her fans and would love nothing more than to have one more.
