And then there were two

We were up at 5am this morning. It was dark, cold and honestly, pretty miserable. But I played the good fiancée and brought MJW and his friends to the airport for their weekend getaway to Lake Tahoe.

Now it's just me and Reddick until Sunday...

I hope to get a lot done this weekend, including working on the blog, a few guest posts and cleaning the condo of course! A lot of this will be going on...

...so I'm sure a few trips to the dog park are in order, too.

I've thought a little bit about how I want to structure my blog. Now that I have my awesome camera I want to put it to good use and capture moments that I normally wouldn't ever think about capturing. I figure if I take my camera with me everywhere I might just teach myself how to use it. So on top of me writing about Eats, Love and Happiness, I hope that my blog becomes more of an everyday showcase of what's going on in my life. This means there will be a lot more posting! I'm thinking potentially 2 a day sometimes.

I'd love to hear your input here. Do you like reading about what goes on in my every day life? Or do you prefer to the more information posts? Do you like both? This blog is really for you all, so I want to write what you want to read!

This also means I'm going to force myself to write about my not-so-proud moments, like my menu today. I'm not so much sad about what I ate, but the fact that I ate two takeout meals. I really love making my own food, but on a day like today, when I'm up at 5am, grabbing a decaf coffee and egg sandwich for breakfast is a must. Then, of course, I became aware of this. I assume they did this promotion because of the recent outrage about their beef. I think the last time I had a crunchwrap was about four years ago...so I went and opted for the crunchwrap sans fake/not-so-fake/whatever beef and with beans only.

It wasn't even crunchy. Boo. What a waste of $.88. Reddick had a good snack though. What I did love was the cinnamon sticks. Those are amazing.

I had planned on getting sushi my first night without the fiancée, but I couldn't eat out for another meal. I got home and dug these out of my fridge.  I love these Trader Joes Veggie Burgers. I heated one up and also added a fried egg on top to make it a little more substantial.

The rest of the night will consist of watching Brothers and Sisters on Netflix and resting my legs. I ran 4 miles in 35 minutes yesterday! That is the fast I've ever ran. I am so excited about it. Excited enough to join Daily Mile. Add me as a friend if you're on there, too!
